Thinking of studying Napoleonic Wars but am a beginner, anybody reccomend any books?
I am interested in studing the Napoleonic Wars, but am not unavoidable where to start. I want to look at Nelson's impact mainly and not focus so much on napoleon himself.

Napoleonic Wars: Duckworth Born
February 9, 1747 - Admiral Sir John Duckworth (truthful) is born. The son of a vicar, Duckworth in a few words attended Eton before being encouraged to ally the Royal Fleet by Admiral Edward Boscawen. Seeing usefulness during the American Coup d' , he earned his first have under one's thumb in 1779 and was promoted to captain the following year. With the outbreak of war with France, he saw big employment and took part in the triumph at the Magnificent First of June in 1794. Appointed Commander-in-Chief at Barbados and Leeward Islands in prematurely 1800, he captured a large-hearted Spanish convoy that April while en carry to his new posting. The following bounce he conducted a prospering struggle in the Caribbean which earned him a knighthood. Returning to Britain, he missed the Engagement of Trafalgar , but was ordered to fight for the blockade off Cadiz. Fervour measure cheated out of the exaltation he believed due him, he became vacillating and puzzling to agreement with. After commanding the Conduct Swift, he was made governor of Newfoundland in 1810. Returning from this posting in delayed 1812, he accepted the stay of Commander-in-Chief, Plymouth. In this r, Duckworth was the last postpositive major British commander to on with Napoleon before the fallen emperor sailed for St. Helena. Duckworth died at his shore in 1817.
