Iv made a whole chicken, it's already drunk and marrinated but I scarcity to cook slowly in the oven.

if you expand to slow cook for 5-6 hours you need to put in a casserole.
you can not bake it like a turkey.

Defrosting a whole chicken in the microwave?

Does defrosting a whole chicken in the microwave dry it out? I have it set on auto defrost but conscious that microwaves dry meat out. Is this a good idea?

whatever you do, don't douse the chicken in hot water, that's pretty dangerous. I wouldn't do it in the microwave. As it was stated before,
